Suryans Thakur was born in Rishikesh in an Ashram on the River Ganges. He did yoga the first time in the Ashram at age 15. Rishikesh is a holy town where monks have practiced yoga for centuries. Suryans has studied with a disciple of Iyengar for 7 years in Rishikesh and also studied yoga in Pune. He also studied in the Shivanda Ashram in Kerala (South India). Suryans offers intensive yoga classes for all skill levels at the Hotel Raj Palace in Swarg Ashram (Rishikesh). | ||||||
